...to the home of                                  I create simple lampwork beads using a blowtorch, winding melted glass onto a steel mandrel.  

This is a hobby for me, and as well as making jewellery for friends and family, I sell beads to benefit the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts or Girlguiding Portishead Rangers, my local group.  I’m guessing that many visitors to this site will have been Brownies, or Guides at some point, but did you know that there are Guides in 145 countries in the world, helping girls to fulfil their potential as responsible world citizens?  Take a look at the work of WAGGGS at their website.

All of my beads are annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability, but as they are made from glass, they need to be treated with care.

As I work full time, there is never enough time to make as many beads as I would like.

Beads are placed on eBay whenever possible, generally with weekend finishes for convenience.  See my current auctions here.
